Starting Rumours is as much a love letter to all the members and collaborators of A.M. Pleasure Assassins over the years, as it is a time capsule and an opportunity to move forward with a clean closet ready to fill with new treasures and oddities. The songs are mostly vintage AMPA, original lineup, and the album plays in a mostly chronological order, most of these songs were originally tracked to 4-track cassette tape.
